I dont see in any of these verses any referrals of two differrent Lords. It refers to the same Lord. Elijah is on the mountain of the Lord, the Lord passes by, Elijah hears from the Lord, also in his spirit the still small voice of the Lord. We see Elijah experiencing physical manifestations of the Lord, we see he hears the Lords voice audibly, and in the still small voice in his spirit where we as believers today hear from God most commonly. *

This can be a great lesson to people who believe that loud, boisterous, and highly demonstrative worship is the mark of power from God, and that quietness is a sign of a lack of the Spirit.
On some occasions God was revealed in mighty thunderings (Ex. 20:18 Rev. 10:3,4)
BUT HERE ONLY IN THE STILL SMALL VOICE.

When u read d passage from d start of d chapter, u'll understand that God has been dealing with Elijah thru his angel. After Elijah complained to God and requested that d Lord should take his life in verse 4, d Lord sent his angel to help and to give him his word. *

In verse 11, there seems to be a bit of translation problem. The KJV says: ''And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold the LORD passed ...'' Now it looks like the Speaker here is refering to another personality different from himself, but it is not so. *

I tryed to underline u questions busi who are this Lords? Let check first the place where the man of God is, is in the mountain of the Lord my sotho bible says: is the mountain of Jehovah, this mountain is own by one Lord called Jehovah and remember this Lord is every where at the same time, and in His present everything worship. Hope u remember in this verse we see the movement of the owner that worship the owner of the mountain..... Continual soon *

But how come there was no God in wind,earthquake and fire but only in a small voice? Everything in da presence of da lord worships,why couldnt the wind,earthquake and fire obey and be filled with his presence?

I see 2 lords in dis verse like busi bcs it says da lord pased by (first)en after da strong wind tore into da mountains en broke da rocks in pieces (before) da lord.Da word before in dis contest means -in front dat means dis tings hapenend in front/in da eye of da lord but da lordwas not there.I went 2 da dictionary of angel en find dat dez an angel called da Lord(Lev 1V1)wo is da messenger of God.Dat means da other lord is an angel en da small voice it was da Almighty God!!! *

God visited Elijah on Mt. b to encourage and strengthens Elijah's faith. This visitation was accompanied by a Great Wind, Earthquake and Fire, but the Lord was in none of those events. He haven't seen God because God wasn't in the wind, earthquake or fire. He only heard him. A gentle whispe. V13 when Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave(new international version bible) *
